ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — On June 19, 2025, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. warmly received the newly elected officers of the Angeles City Solo Parent Federation during their courtesy visit at the Mayor’s Office.
The new leadership team includes President Edizon Dizon from Sto. Cristo, Vice President Teresita Antoco of Malabanias, Secretary Mary Ann Tonga from Capaya, Treasurer Annabel Maniti representing Anunas, and Auditor Carmelita Lozano from Lourdes Sur.
Also part of the executive team are Public Relations Officer Lady Prosas (Agapito Del Rosario), Business Manager Jeanifer Jenkins (Claro M Recto), and committee heads Rona Garcenilla for Grievance (Sapangbato), Lily Malungcot for Livelihood (San Jose), and Miriam Magtoto for Social and Cultural Affairs (Ninoy Aquino).
The Board of Directors is composed of May Mariñas, Raquel Ferrer, and April Bundalian, all representing Pampang barangay. Together, they form a dynamic group set to lead and support solo parents in Angeles City.
During the meeting, Mayor Lazatin expressed his full support for the federation’s mission to empower solo parents through livelihood programs, social services, and advocacy initiatives. He encouraged the officers to work closely with the city government to address the needs of solo parents.
The Mayor’s administration remains committed to fostering inclusive community programs that uplift marginalized groups, with the Solo Parent Federation playing a crucial role in this effort.
As the new officers take on their roles, they pledged to strengthen the federation’s services and expand outreach, ensuring that solo parents across Angeles City receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
