ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. recently honored the Angeles City Council for their significant contributions to effective city governance under the leadership of Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting.
In a special recognition, Mayor Lazatin acknowledged the hard work and dedication of current council members, including Atty. Arvin Suller, Hon. Joan Crystal Aguas, Hon. Danilo Lacson, Hon. Jesus Sangil, Hon. Marino Bañola, Hon. Alexander Indiongco, Hon. Raco Del Rosario, Hon. Edgardo Pamintuan Jr., Hon. Michelle Bonifaco, Hon. Crisanto Cortez, Hon. Danilo Nacu, Hon. Richard Gaza, and Hon. Carlos Pan Salvador.
The mayor also paid tribute to former councilors Hon. Dr. Joseph Alfie Bonifacio, Hon. Jeremias Alejandrino, and Hon. Arnoah Mandani for their past service and dedication to the city’s progress.
Mayor Lazatin emphasized the essential role the Sangguniang Panlungsod plays in crafting policies, passing ordinances, and ensuring transparency and accountability in city affairs.
He expressed gratitude for the collaborative spirit between the executive and legislative branches that has contributed to the city’s sustained development and efficient delivery of services.
The mayor highlighted that the council’s commitment to good governance has strengthened public trust and enhanced the quality of life for Angeleños.
