Angeles City, July 8, 2025 — The newly elected officers and Board of Directors of the Councilmen’s League of Angeles City (CLAC) took their oath of office today in a solemn ceremony held at Angeles City Hall. The oath was administered by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, signaling a strong partnership between the city leadership and the council members.
Presiding over the event, Mayor Lazatin emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and dedicated public service among the council members as they assume their leadership roles for the upcoming term. He encouraged the group to work closely with the local government to address the needs of the Angeleños.
The current CLAC officers sworn in include Hon. Ed Dalusung as President, Hon. Joana Joy Flores as Internal Vice President, and Hon. Sonny Saratan as External Vice President. These leaders will play key roles in steering the council’s legislative and community engagement efforts.
Supporting the leadership team are Hon. Andrea Felicitas as Secretary, Hon. Estelita Caparas as Treasurer, Hon. Percival Canlas as Auditor, and Hon. Angelito Manansala as Public Relations Officer. Together, they form the core team responsible for governance, transparency, and communication.
During the ceremony, the officers reaffirmed their commitment to serve with integrity, transparency, and responsiveness. They vowed to prioritize the welfare of the city’s residents and uphold the principles of good governance.
Mayor Lazatin expressed confidence in the council’s leadership and their capacity to support the city’s development agenda. “Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Angeles City for all our citizens,” he said.
The oath-taking marks the beginning of a collaborative journey between the City Hall and the Councilmen’s League, aiming to ensure effective legislation, community programs, and continuous public service excellence throughout the term.
