Angeles City, July 10, 2025 — The Board of Directors and General Manager of the Angeles City Water District (ACWD) recently paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II at the city hall. The meeting aimed to reinforce the partnership between the city government and ACWD in addressing the community’s water needs.
During the visit, Mayor Lazatin emphasized the vital role that ACWD plays in ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply for all residents and businesses in Angeles City. He urged the board and management to continue prioritizing consumer welfare in their operations.
General Manager Edgar Lopez, accompanied by board members Max Sangil, Voltaire Zalamea, Atty. Angelo Lopez III, Angela Panganiban, Angelie Lapid, and executive assistant Kathy Lopez, expressed their full support for the city’s development agenda. They pledged to work closely with the LGU to improve water services and infrastructure.
Mayor Jon also highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability in water service management. He encouraged the ACWD team to maintain open communication with the public and address concerns promptly to build greater trust among consumers.
