Mayor Lazatin expressed his sincere appreciation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for making this program possible. He highlighted the importance of such assistance in empowering residents and encouraging economic growth at the grassroots level.
“This livelihood aid is more than just financial help; it’s an opportunity for our fellow Angeleños to develop their skills, expand their businesses, and enhance their quality of life,” Mayor Jon remarked during the ceremony.
The mayor encouraged beneficiaries to use the funds responsibly and with determination, hoping the program would motivate others facing similar challenges to pursue productive ventures and contribute to the city’s progress.
