Angeles City — The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Angeles City, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, successfully conducted a Special Recruitment Activity for overseas employment on October 28, 2025, in partnership with Magsaysay Global Services. The initiative aims to provide Angeleños with new opportunities for gainful work abroad.
A total of 101 applicants registered and participated in the screening and preliminary examination. The first phase ensures that only qualified candidates advance to the next stage, which involves a final interview in Manila for thorough evaluation.
Successful candidates from this recruitment are expected to be deployed to Hungary by January 2026. The positions available include Assembly Operators and SMT Operators, offering skilled employment opportunities for residents seeking to work overseas.
The special recruitment activity emphasizes fairness and accessibility, as no placement fee or processing fee is required from applicants. This policy ensures that all interested job seekers can participate without financial barriers.
PESO Angeles City continues to act as a bridge between employers and the local workforce, providing assistance and guidance throughout the application and screening process. Applicants were also briefed on employment requirements, work conditions, and deployment procedures to ensure transparency.
Mayor Jon Lazatin highlighted the city’s commitment to empowering residents by facilitating employment opportunities both locally and internationally. He emphasized that initiatives like this contribute to the economic growth and financial stability of Angeleño households.
Through consistent programs and collaborations with trusted partners such as Magsaysay Global Services, PESO Angeles City reaffirms its dedication to connecting residents with gainful and secure employment, promoting career advancement and livelihood improvement for the city’s workforce.
