The City of Angeles reached another significant milestone in strengthening collaborative governance with the formal convening of the Multi-Stakeholders Advisory Council (MSAC) for the 2nd Semester of 2025. The gathering highlighted the city’s continued commitment to inclusive and partnership-driven development.
During the meeting, the local government unveiled its enhanced Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) through upgraded Physical and Electronic Hubs. These hubs are designed to offer better access to learning materials, research tools, and innovative governance practices for stakeholders and the public.
City officials emphasized that the improved hubs will serve as vital platforms for knowledge-sharing and capacity-building. The upgraded system aims to support more efficient decision-making and foster stronger collaboration among local partners.
A key highlight of the event was the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This signified the renewed and unified support of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Angeles, Angeles District Jail, COMELEC, Liga ng mga Barangay, Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, City College of Angeles (CCA), and various civil society organizations.
These partner agencies expressed their commitment to aligning with the city’s development goals, emphasizing shared responsibility in advancing transparent and accountable local governance. Their support strengthens the city’s network of collaborators working toward sustainable progress.
Through the MSAC, the local government continues to champion data-driven and participatory governance. The council serves as a venue for stakeholders to contribute insights, recommend improvements, and help shape effective public service initiatives.
