As part of its continuing drive to reinforce public safety and heighten police visibility, the Angeles City Government—led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II—convened a strategic meeting with Systems Plus College Foundation and the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) to discuss the establishment of a new police substation near the Abacan area.
The coordination meeting, attended by Ms. Happie Bustamante of Systems Plus College Foundation alongside ACPO officials, centered on the plan to construct a two-storey compact police outpost using container vans. This facility is set to rise directly in front of the Criminology Building of Systems Plus College Foundation, ensuring a stronger police presence and enabling quicker response to incidents within the community.
ACPO City Director, PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr., extended his appreciation to Systems Plus College Foundation for supporting the initiative and accommodating the request. He underscored that collaborations with academic institutions are vital in advancing community safety and sustaining peace and order.
This proposed substation is part of the city government’s broader mission to safeguard Angeleños, reflecting Mayor Lazatin’s steadfast commitment to building a secure and orderly environment for all residents.
