ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — As the new school year approaches, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has successfully distributed free school supplies to 22 public schools and 32 child development centers across Angeles City as part of the Balik Eskwela 2025 program.
The initiative aims to support students and young learners by providing essential items such as shoes, socks, t-shirts, bags, and other school materials to help ease the financial burden on families.
Mayor Lazatin personally oversees the distribution to ensure that the supplies reach the intended beneficiaries. His hands-on approach reflects the city government’s commitment to quality and accessible education for all Angeleño youth.
By targeting both public schools and child development centers, the program caters to learners of different age groups, from early childhood to senior high school students, promoting a continuous and inclusive learning experience.
Local officials and staff from various city offices, including the Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office and the City Nutrition Office, assist in managing the distribution schedules and logistics.
This wide-reaching effort supports the mayor’s promise that no Angeleño student will be left behind in education, regardless of their economic background.
Balik Eskwela 2025 is part of Mayor Lazatin’s broader campaign to enhance education in Angeles City, ensuring learners have the resources they need to succeed throughout the school year and beyond.
