ANGELES CITY — Employees of the Angeles City Hall came together on June 9, 2025, for their regular Monday morning flag ceremony, held at the City Hall Parking Lot. The event reflects the city government’s continued dedication to discipline, unity, and public service.
The weekly flag-raising is a long-standing tradition that reinforces the values of patriotism and service among government employees. This week’s ceremony was organized and led by the City Human Resources and Management Office (CHRMO).
Under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., Angeles City Hall continues to emphasize the importance of fostering a committed and motivated workforce in delivering quality public service to Angeleños.
Mayor Lazatin, who has consistently promoted discipline and professionalism in the public sector, encourages city employees to use the weekly gathering as an opportunity to reflect on their roles as civil servants and renew their pledge to serve the community.
The CHRMO, headed by its department officers, took charge of the program flow, which included the singing of the national anthem, a prayer, and messages reminding employees of their duties and responsibilities.
City employees welcomed the gathering as a way to build camaraderie and boost morale within the local government workforce. Many also see it as a space for updates, announcements, and a reaffirmation of the administration’s goals and direction.
Mayor Lazatin reiterated his administration’s commitment to maintaining efficient public service and fostering unity within the city government, saying that regular activities like the flag ceremony help keep the workforce grounded in service and shared purpose.
