Angeles City continues its “30 Days of Christmas” celebration with a heartfelt feature from Mr. Enrico Pozon Capulong of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS). For him, Christmas in Angeles carries a unique melody—one created by the laughter, stories, and gatherings that strengthen families and friendships year after year.
Mr. Capulong shared that what makes Christmas truly special is witnessing Angeleño families enjoying meals together, seated side by side, and honoring traditions passed down through generations, especially attending simbang gabi. These simple yet meaningful moments remind him of the warmth and love that define a true home.
He also fondly recalled memories with his close friends—cold December nights filled with jokes, repeated stories that never grow old, and the comfort of having people who remain by your side through every season of life. These experiences, he said, form an important part of the holiday spirit.
This Christmas, his greatest source of joy is his family. Their presence, support, and understanding provide him with strength after long days of service to the community. For him, the celebration becomes more meaningful when shared with loved ones who inspire him daily.
Mr. Capulong offered a message to his fellow Angeleños: “Mamuhay nang may pag-ibig. Magpatawad. At higit sa lahat, isapuso ang pagkakaisa bilang mga Angeleño.” He emphasized that unity and compassion are values that keep the community strong, especially during the holiday season.
He also reminded residents that caring for the environment is a simple yet impactful way to give back to the city. Practicing proper waste segregation, avoiding single-use plastics, and using energy-efficient Christmas lights are small actions that collectively help protect the environment—an important gift to future generations.
As the city glows with lights and echoes with holiday cheer, Mr. Capulong’s message serves as a reminder that the true essence of Christmas lies in how people love, forgive, unite, and care for both their community and the environment that sustains them.
