Angeles City pet owners flocked to the library grounds on December 20, 2025, as the City Veterinary Office rolled out its latest community initiative—the Vet Bazaar.
Starting at 4:00 p.m., residents lined up with their furry companions for free anti-rabies shots, deworming, and veterinary consultations. The event not only offered essential care but also underscored the city’s push for responsible pet ownership and stronger public health safeguards.
Mayor Jon Lazatin praised the turnout, noting that programs like these highlight the city government’s commitment to animal welfare while ensuring the safety and well-being of Angeleños.
The Vet Bazaar is part of a growing series of efforts aimed at making veterinary care more accessible, reinforcing Angeles City’s role as a leader in community-centered health and welfare initiatives.
