Founded with the belief that higher education should be accessible to all, the City College of Angeles, a Local College, was established in 2011. Its mission was to provide affordable and high-quality education for the holistic development of skilled and competitive professionals. The milestones in the history of CCA represent a commitment to excellence, resilience, stewardship, and patrimony. The initial step towards realizing this goal was through TechVoc programs, which were temporarily housed in the Angeles City Library and Information Center under the leadership of MAYOR EDGARDO PAMINTUAN, SR., the founding Chairman of the Board and PROF. AVERELL S. LAQUINDANUM, the founding president. In its early years, the college offered TechVoc NC II programs, including Computer Hardware Servicing and Front Office. These programs were later integrated into the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Recognized Curricular Offerings. Since then, the dream of CCA has expanded, with the college now occupying two buildings and offering thirteen (13) Bachelor’s Degree programs and one (1) Associate Degree.
