Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on June 4, 2025, proudly recognized Sofia Adriana Ocampo, a young gymnast with autism, for her recent victory in the Angeles City Amateur Athletics Association. The recognition was held at the Mayor’s Office, where Ocampo was celebrated for her inspiring performance in gymnastics.
Ocampo, a student of Hand Prints School of Progressive Education, represented Angeles City for the first time in the Central Luzon Regional Athletics Association (CLRAA).
