The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), led by City Director PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr., joined forces with Angeles City Information Officer Jose Aubrey Pelayo IV to conduct a Basic Photography and Videography Seminar at the ACPO Conference Hall, underscoring their shared commitment to clear communication, proper documentation, and public trust.
The seminar gathered public information officers (PIOs) and representatives from various ACPO units, stations, and offices. Its goal: to equip personnel with practical skills in photography, videography, and social media content creation—tools essential for documenting police operations and community programs with transparency and accountability for the benefit of every Angeleño.
The program opened with an Invocation, followed by welcome messages from PLTCOL Gerald T. Licyayo, DCDA, PCOL Villarosa, and Mr. Pelayo, all highlighting the vital role of effective communication and accurate documentation in building trust between the police and the public.
The lecture series featured:
- Basic Photography by Mr. Reuben Jason Dizon
- Basic Videography by Mr. Gabriel Cunanan
- Reels Creation and Editing by Ms. Jeyanna Micole Espiritu
Participants then engaged in a hands-on workshop, applying the techniques learned and receiving feedback to refine their outputs. The event concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their contributions.
City Director Villarosa emphasized that the seminar forms part of ACPO’s Internal Development Program, designed to ensure discipline, professionalism, and competence among personnel in serving the public. Mr. Pelayo added that strengthening officers’ media skills enhances the capacity of the City Information Office to promote transparency and foster stronger community engagement.
This collaborative effort between ACPO and CIO reflects their unwavering dedication to integrity, professionalism, and effective service—using clear and accurate documentation as a cornerstone for reinforcing public trust in Angeles City.
