ANGELES CITY — As part of the ongoing Fiestang Kuliat 2025, the city government invites everyone to catch the much-anticipated return of “SulYap Sining” on October 10 and 11, featuring free live performances by local talents in the heart of the Angeles Heritage District.
SulYap Sining is a platform for emerging and established Kapampangan artists, musicians, and performers to showcase their talent while celebrating the city’s vibrant arts and culture scene. The event is free and open to the public, drawing crowds of art lovers, passersby, and families into the historic streets of downtown Angeles.
From acoustic sets and spoken word poetry to traditional dance and visual art installations, SulYap Sining continues to offer a diverse and inclusive cultural experience. It is designed not only to entertain but to educate and inspire pride in local identity, particularly among the youth.
This creative initiative is spearheaded by the City Tourism Office under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, who remains a strong advocate for preserving and promoting local culture through dynamic and accessible public events. According to the mayor, “Arts and culture must be seen and felt in the everyday life of the city.”
October 10 and 11’s lineup promises fresh energy and new faces, while continuing to highlight the artistic excellence of Angeles City’s own. Local cafes, art groups, and student performers are also participating, creating an open, collaborative space for cultural appreciation and dialogue.
The Angeles City Heritage District, with its charming old-world ambiance, provides the perfect backdrop for these performances—blending history with contemporary expression. These events also support small businesses in the area, boosting local foot traffic and economic activity.
Through SulYap Sining, Fiestang Kuliat 2025 further cements its reputation not just as a festive month, but as a movement to nurture Kapampangan identity, creativity, and community spirit. Don’t miss this free cultural experience—Kita kits ulit sa Oktubre 10 at 11!
